One in four Canadian jobs relies on international trade. No other
major economy is as trade-oriented as Canada. Each day, we export
and import several billion dollars worth of goods and services with
the rest of the world.

or preparing exporter the Business Services Society is one the first
places to visit.

We offer a growing trade library, access to the Internet via public
access terminals, export-related seminars, workshops and other learning
opportunities. We have also expanded our export services to include
one-on-one export coaching (by appointment only).
Outside Vancouver:
We are your Team Canada Inc information source in British Columbia
and may be reached toll-free at 1-888-811-1119.
Team Canada Inc is a
network of more than 20 federal departments and agencies working
together for the benefit of exporters.
Importing
If you are interested
in importing products into Canada, we have recently updated and
added to our ever-expanding sources of information under our ‘Websites
for Small Business > Importing”. Our Importing Sourcing
Guide (PDF document) is an invaluable reference tool and a great
‘first step’ in planning to establish an importing business
in British Columbia.
